The College Senate represents the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of York College in shared governance. It formulates policy on all matters pertaining to the operation of the college, except those specifically reserved by the laws of the State of New York, the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees of the City University of New York, or the collective bargaining agreements in force.
