Dear York College Community,

Stay in the know!

  1. Attached is Research Brief 6, which pertains to the retention of the Fall 2023 First-time, Full-time cohort. This brief answers many questions about retention (e.g., demographic profile, academic profile, stopped-out, transferred-out, etc.). This information should be used as you create plans for next year.

  1. There are several surveys in the field right now (for faculty, staff, and students) – please be sure to check your email and participate, and encourage others to do so. We want to hear from you!

  1. All seven MSCHE Self-Study working groups have met and are beginning the first phase of the process – identifying and locating evidence. We thank the almost 90 faculty, staff, and students for volunteering for this important work! A special thank you to Dr. Lidia Gonzalez, Dr. Heather Robinson, and Dr. James Salnave for leading this effort.

  1. Below is a list of activities pertaining to the Mission, Vision, Values reflection process, OIESP’s new Let’s Talk Data! series, and our annual Assessment Celebration. Please consider joining in the discussions.
