The YEmmy Awards
Dear Campus Community,
Join us on May 20, 2025 at 4 p.m. for the first of what will be our annual YEmmy Awards celebrating faculty.
The YEmmy Awards, a new initiative, is designed to recognize the invaluable contributions of our faculty annually. The name ‘YEmmy’ combines ‘York’ and ‘eminent,’ symbolizing the outstanding commitment of our faculty to student success and learning. It also plays on the word ‘Emmys.’ These individuals show excellence in teaching, service, mentoring, assessment, and supporting student success, and we aim to honor their efforts through these awards.
