- Please save all your documents and close all applications before leaving for the day on Thursday, May 22nd.
- If you are working remotely, close all applications on your office computer.
- And do not Shut Down your Computer
Why are we rebooting the computers in your area?
- These regular computer reboots strengthen York College Cyber Security Posture as your office Computer will install the latest Windows updates and update its antivirus protection.
- Also, your computer's performance will improve as many backgrounds and startup applications such as Email, MS Team, and Zoom will restart.
While this is a routine scheduled IT maintenance, you do not have to wait for our maintenance window - starting at 10 PM, May 22nd. You can reboot your computer regularly yourself.
