CTLET is offering two great professional development opportunities! Read on to learn more about each and apply by 5/27/2025!
- The first opportunity is a June 3-week AI and Critical Thinking seminar offered by Gina Foster from John Jay. This is a paid-for-work opportunity as it involves productive participation and a solid commitment to sharing what you learned with colleagues. Work must be completed by the end of June. Priority will be given to faculty who teach General Education (Pathways) courses.
Compensation will vary depending on the scope of your commitment but should not be less than $500. Be sure to submit by May 27th (2025) EOB. Yes! I want to participate in the AI and Critical Thinking for Teaching Gen Ed Courses! - The second opportunity is less intensive. Thanks to a grant from the Thurgood Marshall College Foundation, 60 York faculty can participate for free in a Teaching with AI Quick Study Program offered by ACUE--the Maserati, Rolls-Royce or shall we say Cadillac of faculty development. You will have until May 2026 to complete the 6 short courses in the Program. Be sure to apply by May 27th (2025) EOB. Yes! I am applying to the ACUE Teaching with AI Program for AY 2025-2026!
