This chart below reflects our Spring 2026 numbers as of October 10, 2025.

In addition, I've attached the CUNY Dashboard Report, also dated 10-10-25.

This report compares our enrollment with the other CUNY colleges.


On Monday, Oct. 6th we opened PRIORITY registration for our special programs.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7th we opened GENERAL registration for all students for Winter and Spring 2026.

This is the earliest we've opened registration, so there are no comparison numbers to this date last year.



Enrollment and Retention Changes:
Enrollment Appointments – Effective Spring 2026 we will no longer be utilizing enrollment appointments.  Students can register at any time during open registration.
Admissions Application Fee - CUNY is waiving the Admissions Application Fee.  See dates below:
Readmission Fee - the college is waiving the $20 readmission fee for Spring 2026 to remove that financial barrier for students who wish to return.
V-READY – Virtual Registration, Enrollment and ADvisement at York – students will be able to register via virtual appointments on zoom.  Transfer Tuesday and Freshmen Friday will kick off this new process the week of October 27th.
