Service Impact: On and off Campus Jabber softphones and remote phone
Impacted Locations: York College on and off campus
Impacted Users: All Users using Jabber
Times: 1:00PM – 2:00 PM Monday on 11/17/25
IT is planning an emergency security update window for today between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. During the maintenance window the following systems may be disrupted:
* Remote office Phones
* Jabber connected softphones
Any disruption will not last longer than 10 minutes. Users may need to login again to the Jabber client accepting new certificate.
We do not expect any disruptions to other services. After the maintenance all the above-mentioned services will be fully functional.
