I am pleased to share some changes to the Office of Planning and Budget:

• Alan Wong has been promoted to Associate Director of Budget. Alan brings many years of valuable CUNY experience, and his deep institutional knowledge will undoubtedly help streamline and enhance the operations of the Budget Office. In his new role, Alan will play a vital part in the development, implementation, and oversight of financial and budgetary processes across the College. His responsibilities include monitoring budget allocations both to and within the College; preparing comprehensive financial reports; developing multi-year budget models to support long-term financial forecasting; and preparing annual and multi-year budget projections for Tax Levy and Programs & Fees. Alan will also support the College’s annual budget planning cycle and help ensure that financial resources are aligned with institutional priorities.

• Dimitrina Kehaian has recently transitioned to the Budget Office. Her responsibilities include conducting bi-weekly payroll reviews; performing Personnel Services (PS) reconciliations; coordinating Temp Services (CA and NTA) and Adjunct budget allocations and reporting (PR Assist and AEMS); and overseeing program budgets and related reporting. She also supports a variety of core Budget Office functions, including maintaining and updating financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of budget data, and assisting with daily operations to support smooth financial processes.

• Dan Matte has recently transitioned to the Asset Management Office. His responsibilities include maintaining accurate fixed-asset records in accordance with the University’s capital asset management policies. His responsibilities incudes tracking assets that are acquired, transferred, or disposed of, as well as conducting regular reconciliations and the annual inventory at the college.
