CONGRATULATIONS!!!

We have exceeded our overall enrollment target!!!!

Dear Campus Community,

Please find attached the Enrollment & Retention Management Update for February 2026. In addition to reporting enrollment targets, we are also providing a list of important dates and recruitment activities. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more information.

Enrollment:

This chart below reflects our Spring 2026 numbers as of January 31, 2026.

In addition, I've attached the CUNY Dashboard Report, also dated 1-31-26.

This report compares our enrollment with the other CUNY colleges.

Enrollment Target

Our Enrollment Target is 6,091 students; we are currently at 6,199 students.

We exceeded our target.

Date to Date Comparison:

January 31, 2026: 6,199

January 31, 2025: 5,816

We are 6.6% higher in our enrollment than we were on the same date last year.

There is much to celebrate, we exceeded enrollment in 6 of our 9 categories!!!

Additionally, we achieved over 90% in two other categories but fell short of our freshmen target.

Enrollment and Retention Reminders:

Late Registration – the last day to add a course is Sunday, Feb. 1st. Students can still drop courses through Feb. 15th. The Late Add form should only be used for Independent Study courses.

FORM A – this is our census date for enrollment; final numbers will be released on or around February 17th.

Admissions Information Sessions

Overview: This session will provide an overview of the three schools, financial aid, admissions process and timelines, and finally respond to questions.

Register in advance for this meeting: Feb. 13, 18 & 20; Mar. 13 & 18 (3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Financial Aid Filing Sessions

Overview: Financial Aid staff will be available to assist students with filing the Financial Aid application and answering any questions.

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday 12-2pm

Where: In the area directly across from the Welcome Center

Admissions Funnel

The admissions funnel indicates the number of student applications vs admitted vs committed to the college as compared to last year.

Admissions staff work on contacting students to help them move through the funnel.
