Dear Good Afternoon York Faculty,

I am pleased to announce that the RFP for the 2026 Book Completion Award (BCA) grant program is now live!

The BCA invites proposals from faculty in the arts, humanities, and social sciences who are working on research projects they are developing into publishable book manuscripts. This grant program welcomes applications from faculty for book projects in the development and prospectus stage, as well as for manuscripts that have been accepted for publication and are nearing the completion and submission stage.

There is an anticipation of making up to 8 awards of up to $7,500 each in 2026 for BCA.

Proposals are due by March 13, 2026, with awards announced in April.
