The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 YEMMY Faculty Awards, celebrating excellence in Teaching, Service, Mentorship, Assessment, and Supporting Student Success.

Nomination Submissions Deadline Extended: March 27, 2026
Submit to: academicaffairs@PROTECTED

Who May Nominate:

· Faculty may nominate colleagues for all categories except Mentorship.

· Self-nominations are allowed only for the Excellence in Assessment Award.

· Students may nominate faculty for the Excellence in Mentorship Award via the survey at: https://www.york.cuny.edu/yemmy.

Nomination Requirements:
No more than a one-page summary including:

· Nominee’s name, title, department

· Nominator’s name, title, department

· A brief statement demonstrating excellence in the selected category

Award Categories:

· Excellence in Teaching & Innovation

· Excellence in Service

· Excellence in Supporting Student Success

· Excellence in Assessment (faculty & staff)

· Excellence in Mentorship (student nominations only)

Award recipients will be honored at the YEMMY Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2026.
