As a College Assistant or CUNY Office Assistant, your union (DC-37) offers tuition reimbursement.

You can get up to $1,500 reimbursed to you towards tuition every year.

Professional Development

Every year you are entitled to up to $3,000 towards professional development.

This includes webinars, seminars and workshops and conferences.

Make sure to check the schedule online. 

Request for funds must be submitted 2 months before you want to attend a PD event.

CUNY Full-time employees are entitled to Tuition Waivers (student fees must be paid by the employee)

Tuition Waiver

As a full-time employee, you are entitled to unlimited UNDERGRADUATE courses and up to 6 graduate credits a semester (no winter or summer).

Graduate credits can be taken towards your master's OR your doctoral degree.
