It’s official, 2001 was a quarter of a century ago. This year unfolded in a way that permanently altered how the world understood security and uncertainty. In the United States, George W. Bush began his presidency, stepping into office just 8 months before the September 11 Attacks. The coordinated series of suicide attacks across 3 states perpetrated by Al-Qaeda resulted in many fatalities and the War in Afghanistan. Wikipedia launched on January 15, both Mac OS X and Windows XP were released. Apple Released their first portable iPod on November 10. This same year, York College welcomed the below employees to support its mission and goals.
