Dear York College Community,


As Commencement approaches, we recognize how important this milestone is for our students and their families.

We also understand that some students may still have questions regarding their eligibility to participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony.


Unfortunately, the Commencement Appeals process is now officially closed.
Information regarding the appeals process was shared with students earlier this year, and the deadline was extended multiple times to provide additional opportunities for students to submit requests.

At this stage, Commencement tickets have been distributed, final regalia orders have been placed, and numerous ceremony-related processes and commitments were finalized following the May 1st deadline.

As a result, we are unable to consider or grant any additional appeals or exceptions.


We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our campus community as we work to ensure a successful Commencement celebration for all eligible graduates.
