 Dr. Anthony Sparacino, a political science professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences, recently received the 2026 Feliks Gross Endowment Henry Wasser Award for Outstanding Research for Assistant Professors.The prestigious award is presented annually to exceptional junior faculty across the CUNY system. |  Former Student Government senator and president Joah Joseph is preparing to graduate as a member of York College’s Class of 2026 and will begin a paid summer internship aligned with long-term career goals. Throughout the York experience, Ms. Joseph sought mentorship and fully engaged in campus life with the support of the college community. This summer, Ms. Joseph will serve as a servant-leader intern at Queens Community House for seven weeks following training in Knoxville, Tennessee. |  Faculty in York College’s Department of History, Philosophy, and Anthropology have spent the academic year spotlighting the rich history and contributions of African Americans in the United States through a series of public programs on campus and across the region. |
