York College is pleased to offer a De-escalation Skills Training Workshop designed specifically for faculty. This interactive session will provide practical strategies for managing challenging situations, responding effectively in high-stress moments, and helping to foster a supportive learning environment for our students and campus community.

 

 

This is a small-group training opportunity limited to 15 faculty participants, allowing for discussion, practice, and engagement with colleagues. RSVP is required Here: 

 

The workshop is presented through a collaboration of Student Affairs, the Office of the Ombudsperson, Counseling Center, Public Safety, and the Office of Diversity and Compliance.

 

We encourage interested faculty to register as soon as possible, as space is limited.
