The annual inventory process at York College must adhere to CUNY guidelines and deadlines. The University emphasizes the College's responsibility to maintain precise and timely property management to ensure accountability. It is crucial for all of us to ensure assets are well-maintained and accurately recorded. Failure to comply could lead to funding reductions for the College.
To facilitate completion, Stephen Barrera will visit departments that have not yet been surveyed. His task is to physically locate and scan all items with a CUNY York tag (e.g., YOR-0000000), including laptops and tablets.
If you possess an inventoried item designated for remote work and cannot bring it to campus during your department's inventory scanning, you must email propertycontrol@PROTECTED with a photo of the YORK tag number and item description.
