HR Updates & Reminders
As a reminder, there are two mandatory CUNY trainings that all employees must complete by May 31, 2024. Please be sure to complete the Workplace Violence Prevention Training (WVP) and the ESPARC Training. All managers should complete the Gender Based Violence Training and this should be completed by May 31, 2024 as well. All training can be found on Blackboard. The Office of Legal Affairs has been sending completion rates to department heads and they should follow up with employees to ensure they complete all required training.
The State of New York, Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (COELIG) requires all State employees (full- and part-time) to complete live ethics training once every two years. On May 17, the June 2024 dates were sent to the York community. Please plan to attend if you haven’t already completed this training.
To all Department Heads, the year-end AESS Assessment Reports for AY2023-24 are due in YAMS by May 30, 2024. This year, OIESP is requesting a summary document capturing assessment activities for the last four years. Lori Hoeffner sent an email on May 6 with more information and attachments.
