Dear Faculty and Staff,
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Uwill, the leading student mental health and wellness solution. Formerly known as the Virtual Care Group (VCG), Uwill provides our students with free, immediate access to teletherapy, a direct crisis connection, and wellness programming through its easy-to-use online platform.
Key Features of Uwill for Our Students:
- Teletherapy Access: Students can create a profile on Uwill, choose a therapist based on their personal preferences—such as availability, issue, gender, language, and ethnicity—and select a time that fits their schedule, with options available day, night, and weekends. Uwill is private, secure, and confidential.
- Wellness Programming: In addition to teletherapy, students can access a range of wellness resources such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness practices, and more. These resources are available on-demand, allowing students to relax and recharge their minds and bodies at any time.
We encourage you to help spread the word about these mental health support options available to students. Here are a few ways you can support this initiative:
- Add a line about Uwill in your email signature.
- Display a slide with Uwill information in your classroom or lecture hall.
- During key times in the semester, verbally mention these free resources to your students.
Thank you for your dedication to supporting our students' well-being. Please help remind them of these valuable resources as they navigate the semester.
Best regards,
James Salnave, Ed.D.
