Subject: Annual Re-Inventory Reminder
The annual University mandatedfixed tagged assets and equipment re-inventory process at York College is essential to be in compliance with CUNY guidelines and GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
All inventory tasks must be completed by December 31, 2024. It is critical that we uphold accurate property management to ensure accountability and meet the deadline.
To assist in meeting this deadline, Stephen Barrera and Dimitrina Kehaian will be visiting departments that still have unscanned items. They will help locate and scan all assets marked with a CUNY York tag (e.g., YOR-0000000), including laptops and tablets.
If you have any inventoried items designated for remote work that you cannot bring to campus during your department's inventory scanning, please email propertycontrol@PROTECTED with a photo of the YORK tag number and a brief description of the item.
