Subject: In Loving Memory of Dr. Michael DiMaio
Dear Members of the York College Community and the York College Occupational Therapy Community,
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I share the passing of Dr. Michael DiMaio, a long‑time adjunct faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy, a valued colleague, and a close personal friend.
For more than two decades, Dr. DiMaio taught anatomy with extraordinary passion and enthusiasm, touching the lives of hundreds of Occupational Therapy students. He was more than an instructor; he was a mentor, a guide, and a steady presence whose love for teaching was evident in every lecture and every interaction. His impact reached far beyond the classroom through the depth of knowledge he shared and the example of compassion, dedication, humility, great sense of humor, and deep faith that he lived every day. His influence on our students and our community is immeasurable and enduring.
