CIS will be upgrading DegreeWorks to version 5.1.6 to apply critical fixes and ensure system support for the upcoming academic term.
As shown in the following table, colleges have been assigned to one of four upgrade groups with each group having its own DegreeWorks upgrade and associated system outage window:

2 | Borough of Manhattan CC, Bronx CC, LaGuardia CC, School of Labor, and School of Professional Studies | Start: 9 am on July 7 – Rerelease: 9 am on July 13 |
3 | Baruch College, Guttman CC, Kingsborough CC, Lehman College, City Tech and School of Law | Start: 9 am on July 8 – Rerelease: 9 am on July 14 |
4 | Brooklyn College, City College, Hostos CC, Medgar Evers College, and Queens College | Start: 9 am on July 9 Rerelease: 4 pm on July 14 |
Please note the following:
- While the upgrade and outage windows for each group overlap, users will only be prevented from accessing DegreeWorks during their group’s upgrade and outage window.
- FACTS will remain available during the DegreeWorks upgrade but users must access DegreeWorks using the direct link (https://facts.cuny.edu/FinAid_EligibilityAudit/college_menu.jsp) during the upgrade.
- Each college’s FACTS data will not be refreshed until after the DegreeWorks upgrade has been completed.
