As part of the campus-wide Fiber Capital Project, York IT will begin Phase 1 remediation and upgrades of select wiring closets. This work will include network equipment updates designed to improve overall network reliability, performance, and accessibility across campus.
During each scheduled work window, computers, area WIFI antennas, and phones in the listed areas may temporarily lose network connectivity. Devices should automatically reconnect once the work is completed.
The Network Team will monitor each update closely and will only proceed to the next scheduled phase after confirming a successful implementation.
