Dear Faculty and Staff, We are excited to announce that, through our partnership with the Association for College and University Educators (ACUE) and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), you now have access to ACUE Commons through the newly launched Community for HBCU Advancement Through Networked Growth and Excellence (CHANGE) Initiative. The CHANGE Initiative is a strategic effort to support growth for both faculty and staff, elevate institutional standards, and foster a whole Campus ecosystem of excellence. ACUE Commons is where all York College staff and faculty access ACUE Quick Study courses. Quick Studies are short, focused modules designed to support your professional growth in higher education and well-being. Each one provides practical, actionable strategies that you can apply to your work right away. On Wednesday, July 1, you received an email invitation from ACUE Support (support@PROTECTED) with instructions for accessing your ACUE Commons account. Register below for the ACUE Commons Overview Session During the session, we will also have fun community activities. It is a great way to explore the platform in real time—and you will have a chance to win prizes! To help you get started, we’re hosting a Zoom overview session where you will: - take a guided tour of ACUE Commons;
- preview the resources available to you;
- learn how to make the most of your membership;
- review the live events sponsored by EmpowerED by TMCF calendar;
- and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Date: Wednesday, July 15 Time: 2 p.m., EST (1 p.m., CT) I hope you will join us as we launch the CHANGE Initiative and begin exploring everything ACUE Commons has to offer. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Tim Paglione, Associate Provost Greet Van Belle, Director, Center for Teaching, Learning, and Educational Technology
