Dear Campus Community,
Please be advised that work is currently underway to evaluate the condition of the exterior brick façade of the Academic Core Building (ACB). This assessment involves conducting probes through selected brick and mortar joints to evaluate their structural integrity, water resistance, and overall thermal performance.
To support this effort, the project team has identified several locations around the building where testing and sample collection will take place. Temporary scaffolding will be installed at various exterior locations to provide safe access to upper sections of the façade. Sidewalk protection structures may also be erected where necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
Please note that all scaffolding and related safety measures are temporary and will be removed once the testing and evaluation work at each location has been completed. The duration of the work will vary depending on the number of probes required, sample conditions, and other project-specific factors.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to invest in maintaining and improving our campus facilities. Thank you for your cooperation during this important assessment project.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
